Considering the sharp rise in demand for food delivery, food wrapping paper has become one of the most used forms of paper liners. Numerous items fall under the umbrella term of food wrapping such as sheet pan liners, paper lines for food trays, butcher paper, dry-waxed paper, and grease-resistant paper. Most of the food wrapping paper made of parchment paper is either coated with silicone or quillon, they both produce the same type of grease-resistant, heat-resistant, non-toxic, safe, and ready to use papers. Parchment paper or sheet pan liners are rolls of paper you buy at your local grocery store to line your pan before putting them into the oven. People who love to bake will use a lot of parchment paper. Some of the qualities of parchment paper compared to waxed paper is that it tends to be less sticky and is good to use to roll your dough on. It is also reusable, and in fact, many packaging labels will tell you just how many times you can reuse it. Another advantage of using parchment paper is that it is oven-proof. Sheet pan liners are a great example of parchment paper. Waxed paper is a great and slightly less expensive alternative to parchment papers. There are two types of waxed paper, dry-waxed paper, and wet-waxed paper. The difference between the two is in the process it goes through. Dry waxed is pressed on the paper leaving no residue, whereas wet waxed paper goes through a wet waxing process on both sides, resulting in a glossy water-resistant material. Butcher paper is a great example of wet-waxed paper, and they are also great to use on wrapping frozen meat. Paper liners for food trays and sandwich wrapping paper are good examples of dry-waxed paper. Waxed paper is grease resistant, but it is not heat-resistant. There is some waxed paper that is used as sheet pan liners, but they are not safe for heating. Our food wrapping paper is also available in different colors and patterns, and they are a great addition to your food packaging.
