The Packaging Company (TPC) is committed to the safety and well-being of our team members, customers and communities during the current COVID-19 outbreak.

We’re pleased to share with you that TPC is open for business and we’ll continue serving your packaging needs as usual.

Due to the nature of the packaging industry, not all our team members are able to work from home, but we’re all taking the necessary steps to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

Those who can reasonably work from home have been encouraged to do so since March 7th to reduce everyone’s potential virus exposure. Additionally, all TPC team members have been instructed to stay home if they exhibit any signs of illness or have had direct contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

Despite the recent challenges the novel coronavirus has placed on both businesses and society in general, we want to remind customers that we are here for you. TPC is committed to providing you excellent customer service, now more than ever, and we are ready to serve you accordingly.

If you’re concerned about contact with packaging materials, know that typical inventory cycles for packaging products (that is, starting from production through to eventual use by customers) is several days. That’s longer than the World Health Organization’s (WHO) current estimate of the COVID-19 virus’s lifespan on surfaces. The WHO has also stated that “mail and packages are safe to handle, including those from incoming countries.”

We know that packaging itself is an essential component of supply chains, regardless of the business you’re in, and we’re here to help with that.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at customerservice@thepackagingcompany.com.

The Packaging Company is open for business, and we know you are too.

Thank you,
